How to write a Scientific report

Meaning:
Aim- What you are trying to discover

Hypothesis - An educated guess about your results

Equipment- What you will use

Method- Step by step instructions that you will follow

Results/ Observations-

Discussion/ Conclusion- "Talk about " the results. How does it relate to your aim.

Evaluate- How could you improve your experiment.

Our experiment:
Aim: What is the average height of 8mt students

Hypothesis: Average height of 8mt is 1.5m

Equipment: Ruler

Method: Measure height of each student and record it on tally chart

Results:
Height cm ----- Number ----- Total
136-140    ----- l             ----- 1
141-145    ----- ll            ----- 2
146-150    ----- l             ----- 1
151-155    ----- llll          ----- 4
156-160    ----- llllllll      ----- 8
161-165    ----- lllllll       ----- 7
166 +        ----- llllll        ----- 6

Discussion: The average height of 8mt students is between 156 cm and 160 cm. We rejected our hypothesis because the height of 8mt students is 158 cm. We didn't get our hypothesis right but it was close enough.
